Pre-K Teacher Position (2026–2027 School Year)
Holy Name Catholic School (HNCS) is seeking a dedicated, nurturing, and qualified Pre-K Teacher to join our school community. We are committed to providing a faith-filled, academically strong early childhood program that supports the growth and development of the whole child.
Position Overview
The Pre-K Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young learners. The ideal candidate will foster early academic, social-emotional, and spiritual development while partnering closely with families and staff.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred)
- Associate’s degree, CDA credential, or coursework in early childhood education (considered)
- Minimum of 10 college credits in early childhood or child development
- At least 1 year of experience working with young children
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
- Successful completion of background check
Preferred Qualifications
- Commitment to Catholic education and willingness to support the mission of the school
- Wyoming teaching certification with an Early Childhood endorsement (Birth–Age 8)
- Experience in a preschool or elementary school setting
- Understanding of developmentally appropriate practices
