Elementary Teacher
The Elementary School Teacher supports the mission of the Catholic school by providing high-quality, faith-centered instruction that promotes the spiritual, academic, social, and emotional development of each student. In alignment with Western Catholic Educational Association (WCEA) and National Standards and Benchmarks for Effective Catholic Elementary and Secondary Schools, the teacher integrates Catholic identity, instructional excellence, and professional collaboration into all aspects of teaching and learning.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver rigorous, developmentally appropriate instruction aligned to curriculum standards and schoolwide learning outcomes.
- Integrate Catholic teachings, Gospel values, and Catholic Social Teaching across the curriculum and classroom culture.
- Create a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment that supports the whole child.
- Use assessment data to monitor student progress, inform instruction, and support continuous improvement.
- Communicate effectively and collaboratively with families as partners in student learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues, administration, and support staff to support school wide goals and accreditation expectations.
- Participate in liturgies, prayer, faith formation activities, and professional development consistent with Catholic school accreditation standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in education and Wyoming teacher certificate.
- Commitment to the mission and philosophy of Catholic education
- Demonstrated ability to support accreditation standards through reflective practice and collaboration
