They are challenged to develop intellectually, spiritually, and personally. Preparation for the future incorporates living the present as fully as we can and seeing the hand of God in the events of life. Students are taught the truths of the Gospel and the importance of putting these truths into practice. Enhanced through participation in liturgies and daily prayer, the practice of faith is reflected in a special concern for those in need.

"Holy Name Catholic School is not just a plcae that educates our children. It is a place where teh staff knows each child individually and tailors the learning so our children are advancing at great lengths. Additionally, Holy Name reinforces morals, ethics, and principles that will aid in helping them become honest, responsible, and productive members of our community. Every day I am grateful that we have Holy Name Catholic School and the staff within it. It is truly unline any other place!" Andrea Lemon
"At Holy Name Catholic School, students are challenged to be the best they can be in academics, the arts, sports and in showing others respect. They learn teamwork by observing interactions between teachers and through project based learning. The best part is that all of this is accomplished in a loving, family-like environment where the teachings of Jesus Christ and prayer are integral parts of daily education." Dr. Jill Miller
"Holy Name Catholic School is a bright spot in education. I am so grateful my children go to a school where they are known for who they are. The small class sizes allow the teachers more time to know the students. They are held accountable, respected for their ideas, and they are LOVED in a way public school and large classes just cannot accomplish. My children excel academically at Holy Name because they are met where they are. They are happy. They love school and they love learning. Thank you Holy Name!" ---Mandy Morris- Mother of three HNCS Students
"My children have been met where they are and given the opportunity to build confidence and capabilities beyond what I knew possible for them. Classes are small enough and the structure flexible enough to allow learning at the rate of the child. One of my children couldn’t read when entering kindergarten and was more than proficient by the time he went to first-grade. My kindergartner reads so well that she goes to the first-grade room to read with them." --Greg and Lisa McClintock- Parents of grade 1 and grade 4 students
I enjoy teaching at Holy Name Catholic School because all teaching, learning and discipline comes from the premise of faith, hope and love in Jesus Christ. This truly makes all other things possible and sets our school apart from other schools in the area. -- HNCS Teacher
A great deal of research has been conducted about the best school environment for successful teaching and learning. Much of the research points to smaller class sizes and individual attention, and this, combined with a Christ-centered approach, places Holy Name Catholic School far above other schools in the area. Holy Name is a great choice for education! --HNCS Teacher
The academics at Holy Name are remarkable and fully prepare students for their future experiences, but even better is the character and spiritual growth shown by the students during their time at our loving school. All staff members are helpful and readily available to assist the students in any capacity. As educators, our goal is to foster a learning environment that supports self-directed learners while providing a holistic approach to the many different learning styles that are in our classrooms. Holy Name is truly a blessed place.--HNCS Teacher
This is the third academic year that our child has attended Holy Name. The teachers and staff that work at this school are truly amazing. Not only do they teach to the standards, but they teach far above them. This is reflective in testing scores as well as in daily observation. Everyday I am grateful that our child attends this school. Thank you Holy Name teachers and staff for all that you do for our families, and even more importantly our children. --Parent of a grade 1 student
