Angie O'Leary - 2nd Grade
Hello! My name is Angie O’Leary and I am the second grade teacher here at Holy Name School. This is my second year as a full-time teacher at Holy Name. My first year of teaching was as a Special Education teacher at Sagebrush Elementary School and a Title teacher here at Holy Name. I am certified to teach Pre-K to grade 12 Special Education and K-6 Elementary Education in the State of Wyoming.
Second grade is a very fun year. The students get to apply all the basic skills they have learned and really get into content learning. Second Graders are in charge of the all school post office in February for Valentine’s Day, we “adopt” the senior centers at Holidays and make cards, and we have a special garden at Kendrick Park that we take care of. At the park we work with the city to plant bulbs and flowers and also weed. This project is awesome because the students get to see the life cycle of a plant with their very own hard work!
I grew up in Sheridan, leaving only long enough to finish my degree in education at MSU-Billings. I reside here with my husband Sean, and our five children: Mariah 11, Ethan 7, Connor 5, Aiden 4, and Nathan 3. We enjoy spending as much time outside hiking and swimming as we possibly can. I welcome you to visit our class anytime.
