I'm married and have three children: a daughter and a son in High School and a son at Holy Name Catholic School. This is my sixth year at HNCS as the Pre-Kindergarten teacher. My goal is to help each child develop readiness skills for Kindergarten and to make learning fun and meaningful. My favorite themes in Pre-Kindergarten are: I'm Special, Dinosaurs, Fairy Tales, Angels, and Around the World. Some of the special events a child in Pre-Kindergarten experiences are: Saint Nicholas's visit, shopping at the classroom store, and being read to by older students. My work is very rewarding. I see children as most precious gifts from God. I feel blessed and honored to have the opportunity to share my faith and teach them about God's love. I value parents' support and involvement in the education of their children. I'm a Eucharistic Minister at Holy Name Church and I help at the thrift store during summer vacation. My interests include gardening, genealogy, computers, cooking, and learning about other cultures. |
