Dear Parents: 

Fish Fry: The Knights of Columbus are hosting a Friday Lenten Fish Fry on Friday, March 5. Serving is from 5 to 7 p.m. Tickets are $5.00 for children and $9.00 for adults. Proceeds will benefit Holy Name Catholic School.

Mayfest: The next Mayfest meeting is Wednesday, March 10 at 6 p.m. in the Parish Hall. Babysitting will be provided. Everyone is welcome to come. Also, please remember to turn in your volunteer forms to the school office.

Registration for 2010-2011: Early registration for the 2010-2011 school year is open now to current HNCS families, Holy Name Parish families, and students attending the Holy Name Preschool. Registration will be open to the general public beginning March 15. If you have any questions, please stop by or call the school office.

Music In Our Schools Month: March has been designated as Music In Our Schools Month by The National Association for Music Education (MENC). In conjunction with a month long celebration of music, MENC holds an annual World's Largest Concert. The concert is a sing along event in which students all across the country sing a prepared list of songs together, at exactly the same time. This year the World's Largest Concert will be on Thursday, March 11 at 1 p.m. Eastern Time. Students at HNCS in grades 1-4 have been preparing songs for this concert and will sing together at 11 a.m. next Thursday.

Missing an Earring? A gold and silver, half hoop earring was found in the school near the 4th grade classroom. It has what appears to be a Ralph Lauren logo on it. If you have lost this earring, please stop by the school office and claim it.

Basketball Tournament Results: Congratulations to our boy's basketball team for taking 3rd place at the district tournament last weekend! We would also like to say thank you to everyone who helped make the tournament a success. Thank you very much for all of your support!
