Dear Parents: Cookie Mass: Cookie Mass is tomorrow. Students in Mrs. Holden's family group are asked to please bring two dozen cookies each. The students in this group include, Davis, Vada Marie, Jack, Alex, Dalton, Emilee, Gigi, Tyler, Ethan, Scott, and Abraham. Don't forget your DVD's: If you ordered a DVD from the December Christmas program, please stop by the office and pick it up. Additionally, there are still 11 DVD's available for purchase. Please call or stop in if you are interested. Each DVD costs $10. Parents of HNCS Students Focus Group: The Reid Group has scheduled another time to visit with parents of HNCS students on Friday, January 22, 2010 at noon in the Parish Hall as several families were unable to attend the last session. The Reid Group is doing the feasibility study that the parish is conducting to determine how we will address our future needs. Please mark your calendars and make every effort to attend. Catholic Schools Week Event: Please mark your calendars...We plan to have our students present at all 4 of the weekend Masses on Jan. 30-31 and will have HNCS students serve in as many of the Mass ministries as possible. We will have rolls and coffee or cookies after all of the Masses with the classroom displays in the Parish Hall. Parents are invited to attend the alumni/volunteer lunch on Wednesday (Feb.3) of Catholic Schools Week. Parents are also invited to meet the members of their children's family groups on Friday morning from 7:50-8:10 a.m. Parents may then stay for School Mass at 8:20 if their schedules allow. Sports Jersey/Uniform Day: Student Council has announced their next Spirit Day for HNCS. On Thursday, January 28, students are invited to wear the jersey or uniform of their favorite sport or sports team. Students may wear jerseys, T-shirts, hats, socks, or shoes that represent their favorite sport or team. Upcoming Dates: January 15 - Cookie Mass |
