Can and Spirit Day: Can and Spirit day for the school year is the first Monday of each month. Since there was no school on the first of this month it will be held on September 8th. We recycle aluminum cans and the money is used to help pay expenses for 8th graders going to the
Teton
Science
School in January. Help be a part of getting these bright minds to a wonderful learning experience. The spirit part is staff and students are encouraged to all wear their logo shirts trying to get 100% of the school to wear there logo shirts and show our spirit.
Vision Screenings: Vision Screenings will start September 10th by Dr. Jill Miller. The screening is free and the results will be sent home. They will be administered to all kindergarten, first, second, third and fourth grade students. See the attached form.
First Holy Communion and Confirmation Pictures: The First Holy Communion and Confirmation Pictures from last spring can be picked up at the church office during regular business hours.
PIP HOURS: Don’t forget to record your PIP hours. The August and September calendars are attached.
JUST A REMINDER:
PLEASE do not park in front of the school when dropping off and picking up students. We have noticed that many of our parents are parking their car in front of the school in the morning when they bring their children to school. When you leave your car parked in front of the school, parents that are just dropping off their children are forced to do so in the middle of the street. If you must leave your car parked, please use the curb across the street from the school or on the side streets.
Parking: Our parking lot is behind
Holy

Church on
East Works Street. The parking lot across from the school actually belongs to The First Christian Church.
Cross Walks: It is hard to remember to use a cross walk sometimes but remember we are all examples for the students. We tell the students that the safest way to cross the street is at a cross walk and it would be great if parents could reinforce this through their actions. Thank you!
Did you Read this summer?: Don’t forget to turn in your Summer Reading Program hours.
Attachments: Vision Screenings form, PIP Calendars August and September, YMCA Soccer can be picked up at the office.
